Today, Tomorrow. Gratitude & Goals (Nov-Dec)
I wondered if I would make it through all of the commitments slated for November. Some were self-imposed, many were work projects, nonetheless the load felt heavy. I’ll make it if I can just get past this one, I told myself.
The good news is, well, I survived and I’m here to talk about it. I have gratitude for lessons learned and God’s grace that I get to try again tomorrow.
This November I have gratitude for…
My proudest moment:
Having been part of the team to put on SPIRIT Fest 2016 at Circuit of The Americas F1 facility. Hosting 16 bands and 11,000 it was quite a day!
I’m still thankful for:

What I could’ve done differently:
I allowed some unimportant commitments to encroach on my precious time. I didn’t employ my filter…is this going to bear any fruit in my life?
In many cases the answer was no.
Lesson learned:
Take care of yourself. You’re the only you you’ve got. I paid the price physically in December for my overbooking.
This fun event:
Attending A Christmas Affair is always a blast! Blog By Tracy supported the event kicking off the Christmas season. See my post here!
What I was introduced to:
A new cause that I just love called KING, Kids In A New Groove.
They provide Central Texas kids in foster care with a committed one-on-one mentoring relationship through weekly private music lessons, giving students the ability to build concrete strategies for life-long success.

The Rapping Dad was the keynote speaker at the fundraiser I went to for KING. Woa, you’ve got to check him out.
December Goals…
I’m glad to get a new month to make better choices in how I spend my time. My goals for the month really just include enjoying the moments I find myself in. I want to be intentional about really being in the moment. I also want to take time to evaluate 2016 and set goals for the new year.
Looking forward to:
Decorating the tree, time off and some down time
Excited for:
Christmas day with Scout (her opening presents)
Unchartered territory:
Training to coach rowing classes with Row On Austin
Tradition every Christmas:
Brunch with friends at my place!
What goals do you have set for this month? What are you setting your intentions on this month? Happy holidays to you!
