I’m really excited and nervous at the same time to embark on this writing journey for 31 days. As you can see I haven’t written here in a very long time. When it’s come to writing for the love of it or writing to share my heart, the past eight to twelve months have been like sailing Cook Strait which connects the Tasman Sea on the northwest with the South Pacific Ocean in New Zealand. It is 22 kilometers wide at its narrowest point and is considered to be one of the most dangerous and unpredictable waters in the world.
Needless to say, I just haven’t been inspired. I’ve been rung out tired and have let other things stand in the way.
This will be my third year to participate in the Write 31 Days challenge. Last year I wrote on Reflections of a Dog Mom and about everything the love of my beagle has taught me. I contemplated not taking the challenge this year for fear that I couldn’t keep up.
Then I wrestled with a theme until one day it came to me. Well, it didn’t just come to me, I believe the inspiration came from God. One thing I know for sure is that He uses His Holy Spirit to speak to me and gently guide, inspire, and correct me. So with a nudge like that, how could I possibly say no?
So, I hope that blogging is just like riding a bike, you get back on and just start peddling, then it all comes back to you. In fact, the ‘how to’ never leaves you.
Over the next 31 days, I’ll share with you some things that I believe to be true, some things that I love and rambling streams of consciousness that I hope will inspire you or touch you in some way.
I ask you to leave me a comment if you read a post that strikes a chord with you. Comments and post shares are bloggers’ love language!
Thank you for coming on this journey with me. Let’s be friends if we’re not already!
Here’s to hoping I can keep up, if not, I’ll just start again tomorrow.
