Hello Autumn
Is it time for pumpkin spice lattes yet? Oh yes it is! I love autumn because it brings the tradition of college football, fall home décor, holiday preparations, and great food.
I love the fall sunlight, something about it just seems special. Even though I’m in Texas and cooler weather evades us, I wait in expectation for brisk mornings.
Bundles of pumpkins at the store bring me great joy. I especially love Cinderella, Sugar Pie pumpkins and the mini Tigers too. Not to mention pumpkin bread.
But autumn brings so much more. The change of season brings a freshness; a chance for a new perspective, maybe even a new start.
The dawning of a new season opens the door to evaluate our goals and to re-access what’s important.
This season brings a hope for sweet endings and new beginnings. I look forward to doing things I’ve never done before and exploring places I’ve never been.
I’ll cherish the memories that I’ll make with Scout this season. We’ll breathe in deeply the ocean air and feel the sand beneath our feet (paws), she and I will roam the pumpkin patch, and have our first Thanksgiving and Christmas together.
This season I’ll have gratitude and embrace whatever these months bring.
I’ll cheer on my Ole Miss Rebels and sip my pumpkin spice latte. But I’ll take in all this autumn has to offer.
What do you love about the fall season? What are you expecting this autumn?
Love reading about how others’ celebrate Autumn and what this wonderful season means to them personally.
Thank you for stopping by! Tracy
Great post!I love pumpkin spice lattes as well and look forward to those as well as apple picking!
Apple picking sounds like a great fall tradition! Tracy
I love what you said about gratitude and embracing what the season brings. I think fall is a good time for new beginnings!
Thank you so much Jennifer! Enjoy the season! Tracy
What I love about fall is the feeling of coziness that seems to come with the change of seasons. Also, I’ve found that people tend to be more friendly in the fall. We’re already enjoying the trees changing colors and the leaves falling our area as well as some cooler temps.
Cooler temps would be oh so welcome here for sure! Thank you for stopping by. Tracy
I LOVE fall in Wisconsin! The changing colors of the leaves, the football, the fall drinks, the fall fashion, Halloween and Thanksgiving, etc. 🙂
So wish the leaves changed here in Texas like where you are! Happy fall! Tracy
Sounds nice 🙂 We love the fall 🙂
